The Consumer Loan Bureau is a United States consumer advocacy agency.  We ensure that companies with products or services in the finance and loan sector are regulated and accountable to consumers for fair business practices. 

 

We enforce clear rules to implement the law and preserve choices for consumers. We review financial companies to ensure fairness and compliance with federal consumer financial laws. We help enforce federal consumer financial laws by investigating cases of potential wrongdoing and taking action.

The Consumer Loan Bureau is the nation's dedicated resource for consumers.  We provide unbiased evaluations for student loan relief businesses to determine legitimacy and value. To promote the efficiency, effectiveness, and integrity of the United States Government department's programs and operations, we conduct independent investigations and dispute resolutions.  

Ensure Action Is Taken

If you're not sure about the status or reputation of a company you plan to do business with, send us an inquiry.  We report business ratings, practices, reputation, compliance to regulations, legal actions, and more.  Submitting a complaint through the Consumer Loan Bureau ensures action will be taken.  We comply with government agencies and local law enforcement - giving your inquiry strong leverage.
